A significant part of the energy, chemical, oil and gas processing equipment, such as boilers, valves, receivers, etc., are categorized as equipment operating under excessive pressure. In this case, such equipment must undergo a procedure of the conformity with requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union - until recently, it was basically just TR CU 010/2011 "On the safety of machinery and equipment."
To do this, the applicant must submit an application for conformity assessment procedure and necessary package of documents to the certification body accredited in accordance with established procedure. A positive decision on the adopted application is the basis for all necessary procedures: analysis documentation and analysis state of production, choosing of samples and testing.
Technical Regulations of the Customs Union «On the safety of high pressure equipment » (TR CU 032/2013) came into force since 01.02.2014 and establishes unified obligatory for application and enforcement requirements for the safety to equipment operating under excessive pressure, which is put into circulation for the first time and intended for use on the territory of the Customs Union.
List of products for which is required to obtain the certificate of conformity Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 032/2013 or get declaration of conformity
a) vessels for gases, liquefied gases, dissolved under pressure, vapors;
b) vessels intended to contain liquids used for working fluid;
c) boilers having a capacity of more than 0,002 m3 , intended to produce hot water at a temperature above 110 °C, or steam , the excess pressure is above 0.05 MPa, and the vessels of the fired, having a capacity of more than 0,002 m3;
d) piping having a maximum allowable operating pressure above 0.05 MPa;
e) items of equipment (assembly units) and accessories to it, pressure-resistant,
f) valves
g) showing and safety equipment;
h) hyperbaric chambers (except single medical);
i) safety devices and apparatus.
To identify the equipment and determine the need for conformity assessment procedure requirements TR CU 032/2013, you must evaluate the equipment by using the following criteria:
a) maximum allowable working pressure;
b) capacity or nominal diameter;
c) the multiplication of the maximum allowable working pressure on the value of the capacity or nominal diameter;
d) a group of working environment;
e) calculated temperature of the wall.
Depending on the values of the above criteria of high pressure equipment is assigned to one or the other category. Equipment classification by categories is given in Annex 1 to the Technical Regulations TR CU 032/2013. Send into our certification body an application specifying the type and model of equipment, as well as used during its manufacture standards, and we will tell you, if your equipment is necessary to certify or declare with requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union. In the future, it is possible that our experts will be asked to send additional information (specifications, operating instructions, passports, drawings, calculations) to clarify certain points.
Testers our laboratory can carry out tests of the vessels of high pressure both on the installation site and as using its own equipment at the test section.
Document on conformity assessment (certificate or declaration) on the technical regulations for mass-produced equipment is issued for a period of 5 years.
It is important to remember that several technical regulations of the Customs Union can distributed on equipment working under pressure, so the equipment must comply with all requirements with the technical regulations of the Customs Union, the scope of which it falls. Thus, if the form of conformity to these technical regulations match, we can make only one certificate for compliance once of all TR CU. Unlike many other technical regulations of the Customs Union, TR CU 032/2013 does not provide for the possibility replacing the procedure of declaration to certification by applicant's request.
